dregad<mantisbt_28888> if you mean like a kind of digest e-mail, then no, there is no such thing00:58
dregadhowever the view issues page can highlight the issues modified since a specified number of hours00:58
dregadso you could create a custom filter on that with e.g. 24 hrs00:59
dregad<allrounder> good to hear01:00

hughI need some help with GITweb 1.7.9.5 integration using source control.  I get the missing Author error.  I've downloaded the latest from  https://github.com/mantisbt-plugins/source-integration.git and https://github.com/lavoiesl/source-integration but can't seem to get it to work.08:55
hughCan anyone provide some pointers on where to start?08:56
hughI've posted some questions earlier about documentation but haven't received a response.08:56
dregadsorry can't help you there - jreese would be your man if he's got the time ;)09:24
hughThanks.09:26

jreesehugh: sorry, I haven't used that with gitweb for a very long time, so I'm not familiar with any problems you might be encountering09:59

hughjreese: Ok we will look into it.  I think it's just regex.11:31
hughjreese:  Where can get some info on branch mappings?11:32
jreesedocumentation is poor, but this is the best place to look: http://noswap.com/projects/source-integration/11:32
hughjreese:  We have a separate branch for each release and we then merge that into the trunk when the release is complete.  I'm wondering how to best set that up.11:32
jreesewell, you don't necessarily need branch mappings; the only purpose they serve is to automatically set the fixed-in version when a resolving commit is imported11:34
hughAh. I see.  So as I understand it, for each branch I created I would have to update the repository configuration to import that branch?11:35
jreesecorrect11:36
jreeseit was designed primarily for importing longer-lived branches, but iirc, someone contributed the option to set the import branches to "*" to have it find them all, but I don't remember if that supports gitweb11:37
hughOh Ok.  I will try that.11:37
hughAnother silly question.  When I commit a change and prefix the comment with something like bug 123 or issue 123, the plugin by default should be able to link that change to the mantis item correct?11:40
jreeseyes11:40
jreesethat depends on the regexes defined in the plugin settings11:40
hughYes but assuming the default.11:41
jreeseyes11:41
hughI tried "bug 1" and "bugs 2" as a test commit with mantis and I have mantis 0000001 and mantis 0000002 but I don't see the commit within the item.  I can see the commit in the repository changeset.  Where should I start looking to fix the problem?11:43
jreesedo you see the commit if you go to repositories->changesets?11:47
hughyes11:47
jreeseand if you click on Details for that commit, do you see those issues listed in Affected Issues?11:47
jreeseoh, the default regex requires # in front of the issue number11:48
jreeseeg, bug #111:48
hughNo but it Looks like I can manually attach it.11:48
hughIf I manually attach it I can see the change set in the mantis item itself.  this is what I expected to see.11:50
jreeseyeah, try committing with "bug #1", the # is required by the default regexes11:51
hughAh!11:54
hughI missed that.11:54
hughThank you.11:54
hughI will do some experimenting with the regex to fix the author problem.  It works on an earlier version of GitWeb but not with 1.7.9.511:55

hughBy the way I think "*" will work with the latest GitWeb source integration.  I just need to fix the regex to double check.13:45
