AlienPenguinhi all, is there a way to move a subproject back as "normal" one? i "moved" a project to a subproject and it was not the right thing to do...11:07
*** Quits: giallu (~giallu@fedora/giallu) (Ping timeout: 276 seconds)11:42
darynAlienPenguin, go to the main project management page. In the Subprojects section there is an 'Unlink' action on the right11:44
NielsMobdaryn: do you also know an answer for my question earlier?11:46
darynNielsMob, i'll have to look...11:47
NielsMobthanks11:48
NielsMobit is for me the first time i work with the sub-events11:49
darynso you have a bug in one project and you've created another project that you want to move it to?11:49
darynthe new project is a sub project of the original?11:49
NielsMobyeah11:49
NielsMobcorrect11:50
daryndid you add the new project or someone else?11:50
NielsMobi did11:50
darynis the bug in a closed status?11:51
NielsMobnop11:51
NielsMobi tried to edit the issue but the project field is not editable for me.11:51
darynoh, ic.   To move it there is a move button in the buttons bar11:52
NielsMobperfect :D thanks11:53
NielsMobi overlooked that button11:54
darynyw. Note, you'll likely have to change the category after you've moved it.11:54
AlienPenguindaryn, thanks for your help :)11:54

darynNielsMob, check the users access for the project.  when adding a new user the default access level for the new project is not the same as the users global access level.   I think this is just a lingering bug that no one has bothered to fix.12:07

Jacco-Engelgood day to you all, i have a quick question wich i have been googeling all day but cant find the answer, is there a script or such to let users en bugs in my mantis without them having the actual mantis access?13:14
jreeseJacco-Engel: if you enable anonymous access, you can assign reporter access to the anonymous account, but do note that if it's a public bugtracekr, it will attract a lot of spam 13:15
Jacco-Engelyhea i fuond that, sorry if my explanation wasnt that clear13:16
Jacco-Engelmy users are idiots13:17
Jacco-Engelso i dont want them in there :P, but what i kinda need is a webform witch will enter a bug based on the info entered13:17
Jacco-Engelhope its clear :S13:17
jreeseoh, that's possible, but would require some scripting on your part to either use the SOAP API or submit directly to the database13:18
Jacco-Engelo boy, thats bad, but ill give it a go then , was hoping there was something i could addapt out there13:26
Jacco-Engelthank u very much for the info :)13:27

darynyes16:26
darynNielsMob, yes i'm still here16:26
NielsMobthe new sub-project is a set to intern and i added that person to that project.16:27
NielsMobIt seems he can see the new tasks16:27
NielsMobin the new sub-project16:28
darynNielsMob, did you his access level for the new project?16:28
NielsMobBut when i mark the issue also as intern he get's the access denied for that issue.16:28
NielsMobi made hem Handler(?) to the new sub-project16:29
NielsMob^ i use a dutch translation and i'm not sure what the englisch term is for that level.16:30
darynok, just a moment16:30
NielsMobthanks for taking your time16:31
darynNielsMob, I'm not sure which level you're using...16:34
darynone of these? 10:gast,25:aanmelder,40:behandelaar,55:ontwikkelaar,70:manager,90:beheerder16:35
NielsMob5516:36
darynok...that should be developer level16:37
NielsMobnono16:37
NielsMobi'm give you the wrong one16:37
NielsMobit is 4016:38
darynok.  40 is an updater so he should be able to at least make some changes16:38
darynNielsMob, he should be able to report new issues16:40
NielsMobyeah and what about intern issues?16:41
NielsMobor do i need to make hem a developer for that?16:41
darynis 'intern issues' a subproject?16:42
daryn<NielsMob> the new sub-project is a set to intern16:43
NielsMobthe intern issues are in the subproject indeed16:43
NielsMobyep that too16:43
daryni'm slightly confused...sorry16:43
NielsMobokay16:43
darynwhat do you mean by 'intern issues'16:44
NielsMobthe sub-project is intern (i added the user as updater)16:44
darynok16:44
NielsMobin the sub-project i added a new issues and placed it also intern16:45
NielsMobthe use reported that he got an access denied on that issue16:45
NielsMobwhen i set it public then he can read and edit it again.16:46
darynah!16:46
darynkey information16:46
darynonly developers have access to private issues16:46
NielsMob above it = the issue16:47
darynwell, it's configuratlbe16:47
darynsee $g_private_bug_threshold in config_defaults_inc.php16:47
darynyou can change it to updater only for the sub project if you wish16:48
darynor update the user to have developer access for the subproject16:48
NielsMobokay. as long other people cant see the intern project until i added them to the project it is fine.16:48
darynif the sub project is private others will not have access unless they are added to the project16:48
NielsMobthat is perfect then.16:49
darynif the project is private there is no need to make the issues private unless you don't want users below developer to access the issue16:49
NielsMobnice good to know :D16:50
NielsMobI did not want others to see the post in it .. so i tried to use both ;) but i just tested it and normal users (managers) cant see the sub-project when they are not part of that project. That is good.16:52
