jreesemdevilz: I wrote it :)12:43
mdevilzjreese, :) I am using gitphp instead of gitweb not sure if that should make a difference, but the error I get after hitting import latest is:12:48
mdevilzRetrieving master ... commit data failure.int(2390)12:48
mdevilzbool(false)12:48
mdevilzbool(false)12:48
mdevilzany ideas of what i need to be looking for that might be causing this12:49
jreeseyeah, it will make a difference, currently all of the git integrations use the web viewer output to gather information from the repository, so if you're aren't using the appropriate viewer, it won't be able to parse the html12:49
mdevilzah :( guess I will try gitweb again, wasn't having much luck getting it to work before12:50
jreeseit's a long term goal of mine to update it to use the actual git client/protocol to pull in all the information, but that will be a lot more complicated than the current methods12:51
mdevilzah ok12:52
jreesemdevilz: if it's a public project, github integration works really well12:53
mdevilzjreese, unfortunately I am trying to use it for projects at work12:53
jreeseok12:53
jreeseyou might also want to try cgit, that works too12:53
jreeseI personally prefer cgit over gitweb12:54
mdevilzOk I will take a look at that as well12:55
mdevilzthank you12:55
jreeseyoure welcome12:56

mdevilzjreese, do you know what might cause the following when trying to import: Retrieving master ... commit data failure.int(1073)14:50
jreeseno, I'm not sure, and I didn't actually write the cgit integration, so if that's where you're getting that, I'd be even less sure =\14:51
mdevilzjreese, oh completely forgot to change the repo type. Changed it to cgit and it worked.14:55
mdevilzThanks for the help14:55
jreeseok, you're welcome :)14:55
mdevilzlast question and then i should be done. I remember reading somewhere there is a way to have these updated every so often via cron, but I can't find how I would do that again. Any ideas?14:56
jreesemdevilz: if you're running your own repos, it would be better to use the hook template included in the SourceCgit folder14:59

jreeseyep15:16
mdevilzwhoops15:16
mdevilzjreese, is there information on the different features that can be enabled somewhere?15:18
jreesemdevilz: not really, documentation is really lacking15:19
mdevilzah ok. I enabled the "Resolved Fixed Issues" and tried importing the the repo again, but it doesn't pick up the reference. But if I go to that change set, there is a link to the specific bug15:21
mdevilzand what does the Porting Status mean? just curious15:22
jreesemdevilz: if you actually view the issue, does it show that related changeset?15:22
mdevilzjreese, no15:22
jreesethen it sounds like you're not triggering the regexes15:22
mdevilzoh15:23
jreeseit creating a link from the changeset itself is just a feature of mantisbt's text formatting15:24
mdevilzjreese, i had done fixes: #6 ... i think the : broke it15:25
jreeseah, yes15:25
jreeseyou could modify the regex to accept that if you prefer15:25
mdevilzjreese, probably will once I get it working right :)15:25

mdevilzor asm8915:27
jreeseshouldn't need to15:27
asm89nope?15:28
jreesemdevilz: you will need to enable "remote checkins" though 15:28
mdevilzjreese, ah that's what i missed15:29
mdevilz... now to figure out what the computer is calling itself15:29
mdevilzasm89, is there a way to use an api key?15:31
jreesemdevilz: add `-d "api_key=..."` to the curl call in the hook15:33
