eru-sanHi all. I'm asking here as  I couldn't find on the web. Is there documentation somewhere describing what text tags are allowed in the Mantis issue descriptions / notes? I know about things like "#", "~", "pre", but I'm looking for a full info. In particular, I'm looking for "pre" equivalent inside which "#" wouldn't expand to bug numbers. Help? :)05:56
eru-sanOk, I'll follow the "be patient" advice from ChanServ :)06:12

jreeseeru-san: what do you mean by "pre"?07:34
jreeseI don't know of any default text expansions other than # and ~07:35
jreeseplugins can provide their own text expansions though07:36
eru-sanjreese: "pre" as in "<pre>" - Mantis handles that, together with a few other HTML tags. I actually browsed through the sources, and I think Mantis just doesn't have the functionality I'm looking for here07:44
eru-san:(07:44
jreeseoh, right, wasn't thinking html07:45
jreeseeru-san: you could write a simple plugin that does wha07:45
jreesethat does that*07:46
eru-sanI know, but I don't think I will have time for this. Feels bad, using something free and not giving back. Maybe at least I should push that "Donate" button :)07:49
asm89what is it what you're looking for?07:57
eru-sanasm89: again, "<pre>" equivalent inside which "#1" wouldn't expand to a link to an issue08:18
asm89ah, tricky :p08:19
eru-sanI've seen requests related to that, including escaping "#" etc. but nothing got implemented as far as I can see08:19
eru-sanin string_api.php seems "#" and "<pre>"  are handled fully independently, so it doesn't seem to be possible08:20
*** plaxx__ is now known as plaxx08:22
jreeseeru-san: two options I see: you can modify the bug link expansion to use something other than "#" by changing $g_bug_link_tag in your config_inc, or modify the preg_replace_callback() regex in string_process_bug_link() to enable escaping the # with \ or something else to prevent bug linking08:59
eru-sanyeah, there was some internal discussion already, and it seems we might decide to change g_bug/bugnote_link_tag indeed. Will make things cleaner actually. Thanks for all the help.09:07
jreeseyou're welcome09:07
eru-sanand one day I'm sure Mantis will just get a full-blown text-rendering component from somewhere :)09:08
eru-sanGod, haven't been on IRC in a few years, feels sooo good :) But now, back to work. Thanks again!09:10

geekeasyHi, can anyone help me set database configurations?   Everything that I have tried is not being read correctly by the parser.16:20
geekeasyI tried the string as it's shown array(....) which failed.16:21
geekeasyI tried the string like it's in the db a:6{...} and that failed too.16:21
geekeasyI created an array string in the format stored in the db by hand, and then manually inserted it in the db.  What a pain in the a$$.16:41
geekeasyBut still not there yet...16:42
