About Me

I am a senior engineer, writing Python professionally since 2010, and working on foundational infrastructure and tooling to support millions of engineers, data scientists, and ML researchers. I am also the maintainer of numerous open source libraries on PyPI, and an experienced speaker from Python conferences and meetups around the world.

I wrote the static site generator Nib that powers this site, as well the static link tree generator Plinky to manage my contact page.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York. I now live in the sunny San Francisco Bay Area with an adorable cat named Zero.

In my free time, I’m an avid video game enthusiast, with a love for space, sci-fi settings, and indie games. Some of my all-time favorites include Mass Effect, Kerbal Space Program, Talos Principle, Hollow Knight and Tunic. I also enjoy semi-competitive endurance car racing and drifting, both at the local race tracks as well as in iRacing.
